The Banana Su’prise
On July 4, 1933, inventor P. Marchio was awarded a patent numbered 1,917,137 for a banana extractor and ice cream injector apparatus. The intended purpose was to create a new ice cream serving that amounted to an ice cream-packed banana.

The Nalar Specialties Corporation acquired the rights to fabricate and market this concept, resulting in the Banana Su’prise tool, which they called the Corfiller.

The Nalar Specialties Corporation was quite innovative in the marketing of this product, as it included, in addition to the manufacturer’s instructions for use document, a numbered license for use. They also produced a colorful poster and a banner. This display of Banana Su’prise memorabilia showcases these documents, which include the only marketing pieces known to me.
